Early Onset Adult Deafness). Jedn\u00e1 se o genetick\u00e9 onemocn\u011bn\u00ed, kter\u00e9 se projevuje zhor\u0161en\u00edm a ztr\u00e1tou sluchu v ran\u00e9 f\u00e1zi \u017eivota, kdy posti\u017een\u00ed jedinci ztr\u00e1cej\u00ed sluch b\u011bhem 1-2 let po narozen\u00ed. D\u011bdi\u010dnost je recesivn\u00ed, posti\u017een\u00fd jedinec je potomkem psa a feny, kte\u0159\u00ed jsou oba p\u0159ena\u0161e\u010di onemocn\u011bn\u00ed. P\u0159ena\u0161e\u010di p\u0159itom netrp\u00ed zhor\u0161en\u00edm \u010di ztr\u00e1tou sluchu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u016fvodn\u011b bylo mo\u017en\u00e9 vy\u0161et\u0159en\u00ed objednat u americk\u00e9 laborato\u0159e v&nbsp;r\u00e1mci projektu <strong>ProjectDog<\/strong>. Bohu\u017eel laborato\u0159 p\u0159estala p\u0159ij\u00edmat vzorky na vy\u0161et\u0159en\u00ed tohoto onemocn\u011bn\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vzhledem ke skute\u010dnosti, \u017ee v\u00fdsledky byly laborato\u0159\u00ed ProjectDog reportov\u00e1ny jako \u201epravd\u011bpodobn\u011b \u010dist\u00fd, pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b p\u0159ena\u0161e\u010d, pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b posti\u017een\u00fd\u201c d\u00e1 se usuzovat, \u017ee nebyla vy\u0161et\u0159ov\u00e1na p\u0159\u00ed\u010dinn\u00e1 mutace, ale pouze genetick\u00e9 markery v&nbsp;okol\u00ed posti\u017een\u00e9ho genu.&nbsp;Z tohoto d\u016fvodu doporu\u010dujeme p\u0159etestov\u00e1n\u00ed na konkr\u00e9tn\u00ed mutaci, kter\u00e1 byla ned\u00e1vno popsan\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mutace byla objeven\u00e1 v&nbsp;genu <em>EPS8L2<\/em>, co\u017e je gen, kter\u00fd p\u0159i nespr\u00e1vn\u00e9 funkci zp\u016fsobuje ztr\u00e1tu sluchu i u lid\u00ed.
